Open Fire Co. x Calabria's Fine Foods (Charleston, SC)

Open Fire Co Road Trip!

Mark C. Stevens and local legend chef Graham Calabria forces for a one-night-only event at Union Station in Charleston, SC, crafting an immersive open-fire cooking experience for their guests (yes, that's you!).

Delight in an evening dedicated to savoring cuisine born from the passionate embrace of flames, expertly prepared right before your eyes.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 6 to 9 pm, with serving starting promptly at 6 pm. We regret any inconvenience if you arrive late, but the show must go on for our other patrons. If you arrive early, we kindly ask that you respect those who have purchased VIP tickets and enjoy our cash bar inside.

-By purchasing a ticket, you agree to hold harmless and authorize the parties hosting the event to utilize your image for future commercial endeavors; this constitutes a media release.

-If you have any dietary restrictions, please inform us via email after purchasing your ticket. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate allium restrictions, veganism, or nightshade allergies for this particular event.

-Please note that this ticket is non-refundable.

-While this event is open to the public, both participating chefs own private businesses and can be hired for catering or special services, such as private cheffing. Please consider this while enjoying the exhibition of their skills!

Mar 31: Grateful Gratitude Fundraiser

NEW ORLEANS: On October 14, Open Fire Co is partnering with Giving Kitchen & Parleaux Beer Lab to put on a fundraiser for the Giving Kitchen. There will be live music, oysters from Brightside Oysters and we will have the big cage out in all its glory. Come soak in the vibes and support a good cause.

Due to popular request we are embracing Fish Friday during lent. Every other Friday in March we will be doing a ‘tit Hang seafood forward limited menu offering at Tell Me Bar from 4p to 8p

Mar 10: 'tit Hang at Parleaux Beer Lab

Last month at Parleaux we tried a mini-version of the Hang playfully called ‘tit Hang (or petit Hang, named after the miniature float parade during Mardi Gras ‘tit Rex). It was a hit! We had just a couple menu items made with intention and the folks at Parleaux could not have been kinder. Were pumped to go back and have a similar chill afternoon in the courtyard.

Feb 19: Monthly Pop-Up at Tell Me Bar

Folks we are so excited to be back at Tell Me Bar on Sunday the 19th of February. Tell Me is one of our favorite spots in New Orleans are they just were named Best Wine Bar by Eater NOLA Awards 2023. This will be our third pop-up open to the publc at Tell Me and we’ve done one private event. We love how the cage lights up the courtyard and allows people to enjoy the fire with a beautiful glass of wine.

On the menu will be chickens, veggie plates and the usual accompaniment of empanadas. For dessert: rice pudding and grilled pineapple. Tell Me is going to have some wine pairing suggestions - and 25% off all bottles - and it’s all going to be a damn good time. We will go until we sell out.

Oct. 14: Burning with Gratitude: Open Fire Long Lunch to Support Giving Kitchen

NEW ORLEANS: On October 14, Open Fire Co is partnering with Giving Kitchen & Three Fires Farms to host a long lunch Hang in support of Giving Kitchen’s annual October fundraiser: Dining with Gratitude. Actor Jamie Hyder (Law & Order: SVU, True Blood) will represent Giving Kitchen and join the OFC team cooking in the fire and coals. All of the proceeds for the event will be donated to Giving Kitchen, in support of their mission to help food service industry workers in crisis.

WHERE: 1229 Saint Thomas St. NOLA, adjacent to Tell Me Bar.

WHEN: Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 2pm on.
